Londonderry Trailways has a number of ongoing projects that are supported by our specific activities and the unending comittment of our members. Our projects fall into two major areas: improving our recreation opportunities, and helping to develop transporation alternatives around town. Transporation AlternativesThese projects are intended to improve the use of our roadways for non-motorized vehicles. These projects are tightly coupled to our development of a Master Plan for Londonderry, which identifies our vision for bicycle and pedestrian access through town. Currently, our largest project is the construction of a continuous pathway linking the four schools in the center of Londonderry.Click here for an update on the schools pathway project. |
